A: Yes you can import default attribute manufacturers into this module and make changes what ever is required to you.
Q: In Shop by brands extension,Is it possible to import brands from a csv file or other extension ?

A: thank u for your question.No, It is not possible to import brands from a csv file/other extension.Brands can be added one after the other at backend.( click on "Manage Brands" to add brands)
